White Bird of Paradise

The Giant White Bird of Paradise is a majestic and hardy perennial with large paddle-shaped leaves.

This plant can grow impressively tall as an indoor plant, reaching up to 3 metres. Despite its dramatic appearance, this is a relatively low-maintenance plant with easy care needs, perfect for beginners! 

Comes in a 12cm plastic grow pot and looks great in any of our cover pots (sold separately and available to add on below).

Care:

  • Light: Position in a spot with medium to bright, indirect light.
  • Water: Prefers moist, but not wet soil. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, reduce watering frequency in winter months.

  • Delivery Information

    We hand deliver in electric vehicles from Puhoi to Mangawhai (and everywhere in between), Monday to Saturday from 2–7 pm, and offer same-day delivery or pick-ups for orders received by 2 pm.

    We don't use couriers so our flowers arrive in perfect condition.

    If you require a specific delivery time please arrange this in advance by calling the shop and we will do our best to accomodate you.

  • What If No One Is Home?

    Our fresh flower bouquets are water wrapped with reusable bamboo towels and compostable bags, which keeps them hydrated for up to 24 hours.

    Fresh flowers in vases come with water.


    If no one is home the delivery will be left in a safe and shady spot. If we have any concerns about leaving a delivery we'll call you, or the recipient, or return the delivery to the Studio (and rearrange delivery).
