We are fortunate that many of the most popular flowers are available all year round in Aotearoa, New Zealand. 

The table below shows the top 75 favourite flowers and the months they are available at our flower markets.

The seasons in Aotearoa New Zealand, are opposite to the Northern Hemisphere, so if you are ordering a gift of flowers from overseas this guide will help you choose flowers based on the our seasons, which are:

  • Summer (December to February),
  • Autumn (March to May);
  • Winter (June to August); and
  • Spring (September to November).
